January Highlights:

  • 316 unique classified recalls
  • 3784 entries generated in the platform separated by OEM, Model name, REF, and Lot code
  • Getinge USA had the largest number of recall entries based on unique Catalog Number/Model Number with a total of 2478 entries.  These entries were for various OR Light Systems and attachment hardware.
  • Baxter Healthcare had multiple recall entries split between medical equipment and disposables with XScribe Cardiac Stress Testing Systems making up the majority of their entries for Potential distortion identified in electrocardiogram (ECG) readings when the Source Consistency Filter (SCF) is enabled.
  • – Recalls for American Contract Systems‘ included various consumable Kits and Packs due to “piggy backing” components during the sterilization process where there was no supporting documentation that this process was effective for the recalled components.
